A member of the Second Experimental Mathematics Class Affiliated to Renmin University, won multiple math competition awards during high school.
Since 2010, she has served as the head coach and team leader of the Chinese team at the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML), leading them to 8 international team championships and 2 runner-up titles. In 2023, she formed the Canadian team to participate in the World Mathematics Team Championship (WMTC) for the first time, winning a gold and two bronze medals individually, as well as a team excellence award.
Having conducted in-depth research on top-level math education in China and the United States, Teacher Zhou recognized the limitations of the current mathematics curriculum in Canadian primary and secondary schools. She felt that this prevented outstanding students from studying mathematics at a higher level, which she found regrettable and unjust for the students. Consequently, she decided to establish “Greater Learning Center,” with the aim of providing tailored math materials for students of different levels, enabling them to truly understand and master mathematics, and unlocking their full mathematical potential.

Terence Liu graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Having received education from schools in both Taiwan and Canada during his academic years, he is well-versed in the differences between Eastern and Western mathematics education. During his high school years in Canada, in addition to achieving full marks in provincial math exams, he participated in numerous math competitions and won a gold medal in the Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge (COMC).
While in school, he founded a math club to provide after-school tutoring for students. Teacher Liu became aware of certain issues in current math education while tutoring his own children in mathematics. Driven by his passion for math and a desire to address these issues, he made the bold decision to leave his lucrative career as an IT engineer and pursue education. He hopes to inspire the next generation of students with his enthusiasm for mathematics.
